This historical renovation/ restoration project required DCI to perform field surveys and create as-built drawings of the building and the site. The project was temporarily halted when Revolutionary War era artifacts were uncovered during excavation. Once able to continue, DCI prepared conceptual plans and elevations consistent with the program developed by the Wilmington Senior Center. Subsequently, these concepts were completed within the guidelines of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Construction Documents were prepared, the project was bid and construction was started. Work was completed in the Fall of 2007.
