Center Square, located on Main Street Newark, Delaware, is a two-story mixed-use structure. At 32,000 square feet, DCI designed three adjoining buildings with additions to the rear. The building houses retail on the ground floor and 14 apartment units on the second floor. The anchor retail space is occupied by Walgreens. The apartments feature 9 foot ceilings, skylights, upgraded kitchens and ceramic tile baths. Additional design elements that make this project unique are the clock tower, brick accent arches, decorative awnings, and brick sidewalks.
