Castleshire, a multi-family residential complex on Mill Creek Road, overlooking the Delcastle Golf Course in Wilmington, was designed by DCI for the 55+ population. To minimize exterior maintenance, the cluster homes were built of cedar, stucco and stone and feature a hinged patio doors, triangular clad insulated windows and operable skylights. Units started at 1,600 square feet with expandable loft options that increased the livable square footage.
Two car garages, screened porches and outside gazebos are included. The 26 unit complex was constructed to the highest "super plus" rating offering maximum energy savings to the owner. Castleshire showcases DCI’s expertise in designing energy efficient contemporary dwellings that are environmentally friendly.
